We are very amused.
Because I am of British, Scottish and Welsh ancestry, and because I love Monty Python, when I saw this, I had to do it. Over and over again.
Because the first time is pure, that's the one inexpertly pasted into the sidebar. (Sarah! Help!) Others were just as apt.
Empress Stacia the Expensive of Lesser Cheese Winston (Lindsey, the cheese snob, will agree.)
Her Grace Lady Stacia the Careless of Hopton Goosnargh (oh my, careless is so me.)
Countess Stacia the Indecisive of Hoptonshire by Leer (I do not know where Hopton is, but apparently I rule there. Indecisive? So me again. How does it know?)
And, even though Papi is Cuban, we learned on our recent trip to St. Augustine, Florida that the Brits owned Cuba for a while. So let's get him one too, shall we?
Very Lord Luis the Rustic of Fishkill St. Wednesday (How appropriate! He used to go spearfishing in Cuba and he still does farmer blows! Can't get much more rustic than that.)
Ooooo, just imagine the wedding invitations!
And finally, introducing the true love of my life, the Most Noble and Honourable Abby the Contrite of Kirkby Overblow:
She's very regal, isn't she?

Her Noble Excellency Lindsey the Somnolent of Giggleswick on the Naze
I was Grand Duchess of something in another one.
Aristocratic titles are the best!
By the way, Edgar and I decided last night that we are elitists now (as a couple that is...was there any question about me before?) Well, we did a little high five to elitism and moe on with our evening.
(crickets chirping)
We were just joking around!
"moved" that is
I guess elitists should know how to spell.
If you're elitist, and with Edgar's new job, maybe you can pay somebody to spell for you.
the Somnolent of Giggleswick--that was good.
Me too, Me too! (where's my link????)
Her Most Serene Highness Lady Sarah the Charitable of Lardle Midhoop
So me! BOW DOWN!!
Jeeze lindsey, 3 comments on one post? Local traveler, I think you have a stalker!
(btw, I love the eastern shore and northern neck in the winter. it rules)
bones,
Thanks for being the first person who is not a close personal friend or lover to comment on my blog!
I was perplexed by your affection towards a wintertime Eastern Shore until I took a peek at your blog. Somehow, the fact that you're a hunter explains it completely! It's the time spent out in the early morning marsh, isn't it?
Bones is my lovah!!! I stalk him too.
To tell you the truth though, I was going to tell you about Bones because I thought you might like him, even if you don't necessarily like hunting.
Honestly, I'm really a fan of the cold. I grew up in New England, always knee deep in snow and Ice. Cold doesn't really bother me all that much, but I really enjoy the quiet of a place that is teaming with life when the weather is compliant. It's hard to explain.
